Join Our Team as a Lead Business Performance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Business Performance Analyst to join our Projects and MI team within the Shared Service Centre (SSC) at BDO UK LLP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance and service management excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret requirements for new builds and updates for existing reporting/analysis
  • Streamline operational processes and improve controls
  • Develop and maintain operational reporting, including time entry, utilisation, internal volumetric, and KPI/SLA reporting
  • Complete complex ad hoc data analysis requests for clients
  • Identify data issues and proactively seek resolutions
  • Provide day-to-day operational support
  • Conduct root cause analysis
  • Develop and maintain regular reports based on client requirements (Internal and external)
  • Support operational teams with relevant data and expert analysis as required
  • Produce and analyze large monthly MI data sets for multiple clients (Internal and external)
  • Promote the use of consistent definitions across the business
Requirements:
  • Creative approach to analytical challenges
  • Ability to take a lead role within a small team
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Experience with IT systems, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience working on interactive data visualization software required
  • MS Power BI developer preferred
  • Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Able to quickly build positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Well-organized with excellent time management skills
  • Strong written communication skills
Technical Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office/Office365 Suite
  • MS Fabric/Azure Databricks
  • ETL Methodology
