Responsibilities of a Relief Educator:

• Facilitate and promote student learning in various classroom environments as directed by school leadership, often with little notice.
• Exhibit a commitment to positive behavior management and ensure the safety and well-being of students during school activities.
• Address the administrative and pastoral needs of assigned classes or groups.
• Set challenging yet suitable tasks, ensuring high levels of student engagement and expectations.
• Plan and deliver activities in accordance with the National Curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Set, assess, record, and return student work in line with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Driving capability preferred due to potential rural assignments.
• Minimum availability of two days per week.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
