Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our esteemed Integrated Care Team for Older People (HICTOP) in Hull.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional medical leadership and fostering collaborative teamwork. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the delivery of high-quality care to our older adult population.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe and effective psychiatric care to older adults, ensuring their well-being and optimal mental health outcomes.
  • Actively participate in service development initiatives, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Embrace a collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues from diverse disciplines to ensure seamless patient care and integrated services.
  • Contribute to research endeavors within the field of geriatric psychiatry, advancing knowledge and best practices.
Your Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Full GMC registration and membership of the MRCPsych UK or equivalent qualification.
  • Specialist Register status for Old Age Psychiatry or be nearing completion of your CCT in this field.
  • Approved Clinician status or a willingness to obtain it.
