Adult Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, based in Witham, on a permanent, part-time basis. The waking night shift is 10pm to 7am, 3 shifts per week on a rota basis, which will include some weekends. This contract is for 27 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will provide an outstanding level of support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to access the community, maintain their homes, and live a normal and active life. Your responsibilities will include personal care, regular checks throughout the night, and some housework duties.

  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact on people's lives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
