Job Title: Education Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities to students
  • Assist students with challenging behavior in the classroom
  • Provide individual support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies
  • Support students during break times and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Knowledge of challenging behavior management techniques
  • Understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid training

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position during school term times
  • Working hours may vary, typically school hours
