This is an exciting opportunity to develop and shape a team in line with our shared vision for the service, reigniting an Ecology function that is primed for growth and success, with plenty of business already waiting in the wings.

You will work on a hybrid-basis with an office base close to the beautiful coastal town, famous for its lush landscapes, stunning beaches, and iconic chalk sea cliffs, with the rolling hills and ancient woodlands of the South Down National Park right on your doorstep.

Whether you're already based in the area or considering relocation, this would be a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a unique and engaging challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an ecology team, with experience growing a team highly advantageous
  • Protected species licences (ideally bats at a minimum)
  • Develop and implement strategies for team growth and success
  • Work on the frontline in the initial stages, getting stuck in and contributing to the team's efforts

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in Ecological consultancy
  • Experience leading and managing an ecology team
  • Protected species licences (ideally bats at a minimum)

What We Offer:

Salary will be tailored to be in line with the successful individual's experience and skillset, in the region of £45,000 - £70,000 (negotiable) plus company car and pension scheme. For candidates considering relocation, a relocation package may be possible and open for discussion.
