Job SummaryWe are seeking an analytical, diligent, and detail-oriented Operations professional to join our EU Listed Middle office team based in London.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of trade support / middle office experience at a hedge fund or a bank, with a strong understanding of the full equity and equity swaps trade lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include working closely with global trading desks and portfolio managers, resolving issues, performing daily cash, position, and trade break reconciliations, and maintaining relationships with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund admins, and other counterparties.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with global trading desks and portfolio managers to resolve queries and issues
- Perform daily cash, position, and trade break reconciliations with brokers, prime brokers, and other third parties
- Monitor P&L and position exposure and provide resolutions to internal stakeholders
- Understand front-to-back operational processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain relationships with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund admins, and other counterparties
- 2-3 years of trade support / middle office experience at a hedge fund or a bank
- Understanding of the full equity and equity swaps trade lifecycle
- Understanding of all major mandatory and voluntary corporate action types
- Asset class knowledge of Equities, Equity swaps, Options, and Futures
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent issues
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently
