Role Overview

As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will oversee the Assembly and Testing scope, engaging in engineering solutions as part of the Manufacturing Engineering function, adhering to TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budgets, with a constant focus on quality, objectives, and client satisfaction. Your role will be vital in ensuring the seamless execution of production processes and in the creation of manufacturing packages that include user documentation and standards, in collaboration with the Industrial Engineer role and under the guidance of Lead Engineers within the Production Engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities


• Evaluate technical drawings, part reports, and procedures to confirm that components can be produced safely and efficiently, following the Design for Excellence (DFx) methodology and Safe System of Work standards.

• Develop production documentation, including assembly and testing procedures, work instructions, and routings, under the supervision of more experienced engineers.

• Assist in refining the production process to enhance performance standards and/or achieve strategic goals. Collaborate with various teams, including Manufacturing and Design, to ensure successful production results.

• Establish and maintain standard routings for each module and product family to effectively manage costs and plan lead times.

• Draft written specifications for the design and/or procurement of shop tools. Review and maintain tooling configuration setup documentation in alignment with project requirements.

• Revise user documents based on initial findings to incorporate improvements and updates.

Qualifications


• Relevant experience in the Oil and Gas manufacturing sector, particularly in Assembly and Testing. Other pertinent experience will also be considered.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline is preferred.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production documentation, and routing.

• Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM (NX), PLM Systems (TCE), and ERP Systems (SAP).
