What will my role entail?
As a Petrol Station Operations Manager, you will lead our team, ensuring that high standards are upheld across all facets of the store. Additionally, you will oversee and enforce merchandising standards, including inventory levels, product presentation, and pricing accuracy. Your leadership will be crucial in nurturing a collaborative and effective work environment among our diverse team members.

What are my primary responsibilities?

  • Conduct inventory management and stock oversight, including weekly stock audits and reporting.
  • Maintain the forecourt and address any maintenance concerns.
  • Minimize waste and inefficiency by reviewing and refining processes to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor current fuel levels, site stock, and delivery schedules to achieve target fuel inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards through regular temperature checks and record-keeping.
  • Uphold Health & Safety, Food Safety, and hygiene protocols across the site.
  • Manage cash discrepancies and wastage, conducting appropriate investigations.
  • Oversee the operation of gambling machines.
  • Report any faults with gambling machines to suppliers.
  • Maintain records of machine service calls and financial claims.
  • Implement Challenge 25 for ID verification.
  • Complete cash handling summaries and reports, performing necessary checks.
  • Address theft incidents promptly, adhering to established HR procedures.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on budgets and expenditures.
  • Monitor labor costs with precise record-keeping.
