Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Team Leader to join our Logistics team at Serco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the distribution, handling, and stock control of clothing and materials, ensuring the smooth operation of our clothing stores.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of clothing and materials.
- Develop and implement effective stock control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily operational output, ensuring high-quality service to our customers.
- Provide on-call support for out-of-hours operational customer requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- First-line management responsibility for Clothing Stores staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of MOD LOGIS system (desirable).
