Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our clinical pharmacy services and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Governance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and standards, ensuring patient safety and legal adherence.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy services, driving high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Oncology Focus: Develop and implement plans for oncology medication services, ensuring best practices and compliance.
  • Education and Development: Create a robust learning framework for all pharmacists, promoting continuous professional development and excellence.
  • Leadership: Cultivate a high-performing team, maximizing potential and engagement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance integrated patient care.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Qualifications & Registration: Must be a registered and qualified Pharmacist as recognized by the GPhC.
  • Experience: Significant experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management, and specialist therapy areas.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing UK pharmacy practice.
  • Business Acumen: Commercially astute with strong analytical and operational planning skills.
  • Project Management: Highly organized with a track record of driving innovation and improvement.
