At Dimensions, we are looking for a Female Support Worker to assist individuals with Learning Disabilities and complex health requirements in our Supported Living Home located in Barnet. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals lead an independent and fulfilling life.

This position offers a rewarding blend of teamwork and individualized interaction with the people we support, fostering a collaborative environment while also nurturing strong relationships. The individuals we assist have the autonomy to decide how they wish to spend their day, and part of your responsibility will be to encourage and facilitate their choices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to a group of six individuals, including five ladies and one gentleman, all of whom have profound learning disabilities and significant health needs.
  • Deliver high-quality personal care and manage medication administration.
  • Assist with shopping and enjoy dining experiences.
  • Engage in creative activities such as arts and crafts.
  • Participate in day service activities.
  • Organize and enjoy musical activities, including sing-alongs and dance sessions.
  • Offer reflexology sessions.
  • Promote independence by aiding with daily tasks, which may include finances, shopping, cooking, and personal care.

Shift Patterns:

Early and late shifts are available, with weekend work and occasional bank holidays expected from permanent staff members.

Dimensions provides comprehensive training, so prior experience in healthcare or social care is not necessary.
