Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to become a vital part of our team in London.
In this role, you will assist in overseeing Security Operations, managing Security Incidents, and ensuring Infrastructure Security for Legal & General. By leveraging cutting-edge threat intelligence, you will inform daily operations and engage in proactive threat hunting to identify and mitigate potential threats. Collaborating with fellow security analysts and professionals, your efforts will contribute to fortifying L&G against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities- Delivering expert technical security support in response to security incidents at L&G on a 24/7 basis.
- Collaborating with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) service provider to execute Level 3 security event monitoring across Legal & General, including gathering and triaging security events to ensure timely and effective responses.
- Configuring security tools to design and implement use cases, ensuring a mature level of detection and response at L&G.
- Providing Level 3 responses for various security events and incidents, such as intrusions, malware infections, network breaches, and denial of service attacks, ensuring effective management.
- Assisting in the creation and collation of management information, including dashboards for leadership and application owners, to facilitate the detection and reporting of risk events and trends.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proficient knowledge of detection and response tools, including XDR/EDR, Network Monitoring, and SIEM.
- Understanding of threat intelligence and its application within Security Operations to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Awareness of emerging threats and the ability to develop detection strategies based on this knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for sound judgment.
- Relevant certifications in infrastructure, networking, or malware analysis are advantageous.
