We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in a KS3 setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Psychology and a passion for working with students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with Autism in KS3, promoting their confidence and encouraging them to reach their full potential
- Work closely with the SENDCo to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Provide one-to-one support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Minimum 2:1 in Psychology from a top UK University
- Experience working with students with Autism or other special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A competitive daily rate of £100 (inclusive of Holiday Pay)
- A long-term contract from September 2024-July 2025
