Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Claims Engineer to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Motor Claims Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely assessment and repair of vehicle damage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze vehicle damage repair estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Investigate and challenge repair estimates where necessary to ensure cost control and optimal customer outcomes
  • Collaborate with external engineering assessors to ensure accurate and efficient assessment and repair of vehicle damage
  • Support the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the claims process
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Engineering team through knowledge sharing and best practice
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the motor industry with a strong understanding of vehicle damage assessment and repair
  • Experience with Audatex and Glassmatix estimating systems
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages
