English Teacher Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join our team at Teach360. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in a mainstream secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum goals and core objectives.
  • Meet the diverse needs of students through differentiated instructional techniques.
  • Educate students about literature and promote their appreciation of it.
  • Engage students in reading aloud, discussions, and debates to develop their verbal skills.
  • Develop students' writing skills.
  • Provide opportunities for critical thinking development.
  • Ensure a safe and flexible classroom environment for effective learning.
  • Establish a collaborative and independent working environment for students.
  • Ensure students' behaviour conforms to school and district policies.
  • Track and monitor student learning using various methods.
  • Grade assessments and assignments.
  • Adapt instruction methods to meet individual needs.
  • Inform parents or guardians about students' academic progress and issues.
  • Engage in training sessions and meetings with staff.
