About the Role

The MEP Lead will be responsible for the delivery of MEP systems across designated large and multiple smaller scale projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and safe execution that meets the company's Zero objectives of safety, quality, and energy.

As a key member of the team, the MEP Lead will guide, lead, and motivate teams in the application of MEP management systems to achieve consistent, fully integrated, and commissioned MEP systems that meet specified design and statutory requirements, leading to seamless handover with building systems performing to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the application of the Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures, providing technical support, guidance, and direction in overall project delivery.
  • Support the Building Services 'Value Proposition' and its alignment with the Business Units and Company's Vision, Values, and Ambition Objectives.
  • Assist in the delivery of the Building Services Strategy Plan in support of the Business Units' Objectives.
  • Support all aspects associated with the MEP Technical and Commercial parts of the overall Project Bid, executed in accordance with the Company's Pre-Construction Manual Procedures.
  • Provide guidance in the tender and award of MEP packages in accordance with the required contract Pre-Construction and procurement strategy, and objectives.
  • Ensure MEP teams ascertain Temporary Electrical requirements for their projects, including load and energy assessments in line with the Management System Guidelines.

Qualifications/Training

  • Mechanical or Electrical Academic/MEP Technical-related Qualification.
  • Membership of an industry-related Professional institution, such as CIBSE/ CIOB/IEI or equivalent.
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training.
  • Live Energies/Arc Flash Training.
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Technical or Construction-related Subject.
  • Has achieved professional accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineer at MCIBSE level or equivalent.
