We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst Hedge Fund to join our team at Acord, a leading association for cooperative operations research and development. As a Credit Analyst Hedge Fund, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goals and objectives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating investment ideas, engaging in due diligence and business analysis, participating in structuring and negotiating investments, and communicating investment theses to internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for actively monitoring existing investments and building relationships with sponsors, management teams, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Originate investment ideas across the product suite of Credit via early engagement with relevant parties
  • Engage in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses
  • Participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments
  • Communicate and defend investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees
  • Actively monitor existing investments in the portfolio
  • Build relationships with sponsors, management teams, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending candidate with 1 to 2 years experience
  • Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for investing with specific interest in credit / other structured products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and creative mindset
