The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing pre-production builds to SOP, working closely with the Off-Shore engineering team to produce layout plans and operator training plans. The role will also involve overseeing the installation of equipment, performing risk assessments, writing standard operating procedures, and training operators. Additionally, the candidate will support the supply chain department in terms of analysis of supplier processes and make/buy calculations for comparing in-house manufacture with external solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and improve existing processes.
- Design and implement layout plans and operator training plans to ensure smooth production operations.
- Oversee the installation of equipment and perform risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in production.
- Train operators and provide guidance on manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Support the supply chain department in analyzing supplier processes and making/buy calculations to optimize production costs.
