Our Vision:

We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team at St Andrews Brew House in Norwich. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a vital role in delivering our culinary vision and ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion excellent service through quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Lead and develop a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials
  • Manage kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
  • Drive sales and deliver growth through engagement with both kitchen and front-of-house teams

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP with a passion for leading and developing a team
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with a focus on maintaining effective controls with regard to both GP and labour
