Senior Risk Manager Role
The Natural Resources sector at Turner & Townsend is experiencing rapid growth, creating an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to join our expanding team. This position involves engaging with high-profile projects and programmes, providing a platform for innovation, collaboration, and learning from seasoned Risk Management professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee teams of Risk Management professionals to ensure effective risk management across a variety of projects and programmes.
- Develop, design, and implement customized risk management processes.
- Promote continuous enhancements in Risk Management processes to improve efficiency and deliver value to clients.
- Facilitate the adoption of new Risk Management strategies.
- Serve as a risk subject matter expert for significant projects or programmes.
- Create and conduct risk training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain comprehensive project and programme risk registers and drive mitigation strategies.
- Manage Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis activities.
- Contribute to both national and regional risk communities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in managing risk across multiple projects and programmes is essential.
- Strong understanding of risk standards and methodologies, such as ISO31000 and APM, is required.
- Proficiency in Quantitative Risk Analysis techniques is necessary.
- Familiarity with risk management tools is advantageous.
- Experience in integrating risk with other Project Controls disciplines is beneficial.
- A recognized risk qualification is preferred.
