About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Winding Specialist to join our team at ERIKS. As a Winding Specialist, you will be responsible for testing and rewinding electrical motors, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and rewind electrical motors to meet customer specifications
  • Use burnout techniques to remove old windings and prepare motors for rewinding
  • Detail and rewind AC/DC motor windings
  • Connect and test windings to ensure proper function
  • Apply impregnation and stoving methods to protect windings
  • Assist with other key tasks within the workshop, including fitting and testing
About You
  • You will have a formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment
  • Experience of both AC and DC winding, although just AC would be considered
  • You will be confident in carrying out fitting tasks as well as winding
  • The safety of you and your colleagues is your priority above all others
  • You will work well in a team and be able to work on your own under your own initiative
