Conservation Habitat Manager

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing and developing our nature reserves for the benefit of both people and wildlife.
Our reserves include internationally recognized wetlands, woodlands, meadows, chalk grasslands, and heathlands across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.
You will be responsible for leading volunteers and working closely with our team to deliver practical habitat management tasks, including tree felling, coppicing, scrub clearance, hay cutting, and pond/ditch management.
Additionally, you will assist with the maintenance of site infrastructure, manage livestock, and perform surveying and monitoring of habitat/species, tree safety, and infrastructure.
Flexibility to work occasional irregular hours and willingness to travel throughout our work area are essential for this role.
