Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Load and unload goods in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with customers.
- Deliver goods to customers in a professional and courteous manner, obtaining signatures and completing paperwork as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and customer service.
Requirements
- C+E driving license with valid DigiTacho and CPC.
- Previous experience as a Class 1 driver, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
- Ability to lift up to 18kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
