Job Description

**Job Title:** Mobile Electrical Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and fault finding on building services equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
  • Carrying out inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant
  • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests
  • To assist in coordinating visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with electrical aspects of the PPM schedules
  • To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the electrical services aspects of the contract as required
  • Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximize life expectancy of all equipment
  • Working to all health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone, and email

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent
  • 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E.)
  • Health and Safety Training
  • Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules
  • Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection
  • Good Mechanical experience/knowledge
  • C&G in a Mechanical discipline or recognized equivalent (ie NVQ)
  • Good knowledge of AHU's, FCU's, AC systems, Pumps, Motors, Pipework, Plumbing, and Drainage systems
  • City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent
  • Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry
  • Experience in computer PPM management systems
