At Protocol Education, we are seeking a dedicated SEND teacher to join our team in an 'Outstanding' school in Sutton. This role is perfect for qualified SEND teachers who are passionate about transforming the lives of vulnerable learners.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative and flexible manner, to raise their engagement and improve their educational journey.

What we offer our SEND Teachers:

  • Competitive salary: £34,000 - £47,000 per annum.
  • PAYE.
  • Full-time position.
  • Extensive CPD, progression, and upskilling opportunities.
  • Support Team dedicated to ensuring every placement is a success for the young person and you.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning engaging and holistic sessions for each young person.
  • Providing individualized support to meet the needs of each learner.
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress.

Requirements:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs, specifically SEMH.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.
  • Commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people, and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
