Key Responsibilities- Operate Guillotine Machines: Set up and operate guillotine machines to cut a variety of paper sizes, ensuring accuracy and precision in every cut.
- Print Finishing Equipment: Capacity to operate other print finishing equipment, including manual handling of materials as needed.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and record paperwork to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Use hand tools to adjust machine settings, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the finishing process.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job, including inspecting finished items for accuracy and conformity to specifications.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other departments during the production process, communicating effectively to ensure seamless execution.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to the Company's Quality, Health and Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Policies and Procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Training and Development: Coach and mentor fellow employees to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience: Essential experience operating guillotines, with previous experience with Polar and/or Perfecta guillotines highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate guillotines effectively and maintain health & safety, quality, and hygiene controls within a manufacturing environment.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
40 hours per week on a flexible day shift rotation, with a competitive salary based on experience.
