Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established business in the manufacture and installation of steel products across the UK.

About the Role

This is a hands-on maintenance role that requires a multi-skilled engineer with knowledge of manufacturing, CNC, or other equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a range of equipment, including CNC machines, welding equipment, overhead cranes, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  2. Lead a small team of maintenance engineers to achieve maintenance goals
  3. Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues
  4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Multi-skilled maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  2. Knowledge of CNC, HMI, or similar manufacturing equipment
  3. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills
