Role Description

We are excited to announce an opening for a Computer Science Teacher at a reputable secondary school in Redbridge. If you are passionate about technology and education, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of digital innovators. The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, teaching computer science concepts, integrating mathematics into lessons, and developing curriculum. This role is based in the Redbridge area, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science exams
  • Inspire students to explore and understand key programming languages, algorithms, and computational thinking
  • Support students in developing practical and problem-solving skills in the digital world
  • Collaborate with other departments and contribute to extracurricular tech activities and clubs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and computer systems
