We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Hydrologist to join our team at Neo Environmental Ltd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential schemes, infrastructure, and energy projects.

About the Role

  • Manage and deliver Flood Risk Assessments, SuDs schemes, and other hydrological projects
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and produce associated reports
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver projects
  • Organize and conduct site visits, attend team and client meetings
  • Undertake extensive modeling work and report writing

Requirements

  • Relevant hydrology qualification and chartered or working towards chartership (preferably ICE)
  • Experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, and Hydraulic Modeling using Flood Modeller Pro, HEC-RAS, or similar software
  • Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery of hydrology reports
  • Good knowledge and understanding of UK legislation
  • Ability to produce high-quality reports for clients, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and good organizational skills
  • Experience with GIS and other software packages
  • Full driving license

Desirable Criteria

  • Master's degree relevant to hydrology
  • Experience in peat stability and related assessments
  • Strong scientific and engineering knowledge in relation to hydrology
  • Tendering/bid preparation experience
  • Production of EIA Chapters
