Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our client's team in Glasgow. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2/3 days each week in the office.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within a Python Development capacity, a data-driven mindset, and good DB knowledge. Apache Airflow, Pandas, and Dask are nice to have.

As a Python Developer for Financial Services, you will work on the data ingestion side, taking data through and putting it into a standard format via Oracle DB. You will manage challenging stakeholders and work collaboratively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data-driven applications using Python
  • Work with Oracle DB to standardize data formats
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations
  • Contribute to the development of new features and improvements

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Python Development
  • Data-driven mindset and good DB knowledge
  • Financial services experience essential
  • Apache Airflow, Pandas, and Dask a plus
