Community Payback Supervisor

Service Care Solutions Ltd is the leading recruitment agency for the Probation service nationwide. We are currently recruiting for Community Payback Supervisors in various locations.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising service users allocated to agency placements, ensuring they complete the work assigned in a disciplined and well-behaved manner. The role requires effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of safety at work, public protection, and risk of harm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Pre-Placement Unpaid Work Induction sessions
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, alerting the relevant staff to any risk, and completing associated paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ensure appropriate tools, equipment, and supplies are available, following local procedure and instructions for safe use
  • Use pro-social and motivational techniques to ensure service users complete assigned work
  • Monitor attendance and promote successful completions
  • Maintain service users' records, updating information onto the case management system in a timely and accurate manner
Essential Experience
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise constructively while maintaining authority
  • Evidence of problem-solving within a workplace or similar environment
  • Knowledge of safety at work, public protection, and risk of harm
Technical Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid and willingness to undertake further training
  • Driving Licence
