Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients and service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality images for both CT and General lists.
- Regular rotation throughout CT, General, IR, and Theatres.
- Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways.
- Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager.
- Assist the day-to-day running of the imaging service.
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner.
- Assist with staff orientation and training.
Requirements
- HCPC registration.
- Extensive CT experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK.
- High level of understanding regarding clinical governance and protocols relating to CT and Plain Film scanning.
- Theatre experience essential.
- Experience in IR desirable.
- Experience in Cardiac CT desirable.
- Experience using GE, Siemens, and/or Canon equipment desirable.
