Availability: Monday to Sunday. Day shifts starting between 04:00 - 07:00. Night shifts starting between 16:00 - 19:00.

Compensation: £19.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions Group is actively seeking a HGV Class 1 Vehicle Operator to join our reputable client. We are in search of both day and night operators, with a focus on weekend availability.

Compensation Structure

  • Monday to Friday daytime: £15 per hour
  • Monday to Friday nighttime: £17 per hour
  • Saturday: £18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform curtain side operations
  • Execute trunk runs
  • Handball duties may be necessary
  • Secure loads appropriately
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude
  • Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and effectively
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Comply with driving regulations and standards

Essential Qualifications

  • Possess a valid UK Category C+E license
  • Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum of 24 months experience operating C+E vehicles
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points with no major endorsements
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions
  • Demonstrate excellent communication abilities

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in general haulage contracts is advantageous but not mandatory.

Training Provided

  • Assessment may be required.
