As a Senior Transport Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport network, ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize resource allocation and adherence to WTD and drivers' hours legislation.
  • Develop and oversee an effective transport plan to achieve on-time delivery and collection performance expectations.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of drivers and subcontractors to achieve delivery and collection times.
  • Communicate effectively with the Planning team, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor arrival and departure times, ensuring deliveries are made within specified windows.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues or incidents that may arise during transport operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge and experience of tachograph and driving rules and regulations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office packages, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
