We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Business Services team as an Accounting Associate, Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing accounting services to our clients in the Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a trainee accountant, working closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality accounting services.
- Prepare accounts, including consolidated accounts, from both manual and computerised accounting records.
- Provide general accounting services and assistance to clients, including preparing working papers.
- Keep senior staff, managers, and partners informed of the progress of the team's jobs.
- Budget for your time and ensure costs are kept within budget.
You will have the opportunity to study towards the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 and Level 4 qualification over 30 months under an apprenticeship. This will not only enhance your technical skills but also your personal and professional development. Continued career progression is supported, with a view to further study towards the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification after completion of the AAT.

- You must have excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with internal and external clients.
- You must be a strong multi-tasker, able to prioritise your time to studying and working simultaneously.
- You must be able to liaise with staff and clients, aiming to further good relations to promote the firm's image and services at all times.
Please note that no previous experience is required for our trainee roles, but you must have a minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points from your top 3 A-levels, or equivalent, and a minimum of Level 6 (B grade using the old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
