Job Summary

**Warehouse Operative**


KHR - Recruitment Specialists is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at a reputable fulfilment centre in Kent. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, working closely with our team to pick and pack orders, manage inventory, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.


Key Responsibilities

  1. **Order Fulfillment**: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

  2. **Inventory Management**: Manage incoming inventory, checking and booking in stock, and maintaining accurate records.

  3. **Warehouse Maintenance**: Organize and put away incoming goods, replenish stores when required, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  4. **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to health and safety regulations, wearing personal protective equipment as required, and reporting any incidents or hazards to the Warehouse Manager.

  5. **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals, providing support and assistance as needed.


Requirements

  1. **Previous Experience**: Previous experience working in a similar fulfilment environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.

  2. **Digital Device Skills**: Prior experience using digital devices for order-picking and inventory management.

  3. **Communication Skills**: Adequate understanding of the English language for the purposes of health and safety, and effective communication with colleagues and management.

  4. **Physical Demands**: Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25kg.

  5. **Personal Protective Equipment**: Own and wear a pair of safety boots, as required.
