This organization specializes in the management of import and export operations across various transportation modalities, including Air, Sea, Road, and Rail. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of all transport modes to support the dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with a diverse range of customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, transport companies, and storage facilities.
  • Creating and managing internal documentation.
  • Generating invoices for services rendered.
  • Reviewing supplier invoices and addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Monitoring vessel schedules and arrivals.
  • Coordinating collections and deliveries to ensure compliance with customer timelines.
  • Conducting follow-ups post-delivery to confirm customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of proven experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized freight forwarding company.
  • Familiarity with systems such as CNS, Destin8, Boxtop, and Sequoia.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a friendly demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
