Job Title: Procurement Category Specialist

At Entain, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Category Specialist to join our Technology Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in providing procurement support and analysis to drive business growth and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with IT teams to understand business strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize spend and improve contract compliance.
  • Lead negotiations and manage contract lifecycles for assigned spend categories.
  • Conduct market research and analyze results to inform procurement decisions.
  • Collaborate with Senior Category Managers to compile spend reports, contract analysis, and spend classification.
  • Support the development of category strategies using data and insights.
  • Manage and optimize vendor relationships to ensure maximum value.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology solutions to inform procurement decisions.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a high-performance culture environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with a desire to continuously improve performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills, with the ability to summarize information quickly and concisely.
