NHS Grampian is seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team in a Consultant role. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our services and make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of women in our community.

As a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will be part of a strong team of 26 Consultant Obstetricians and Gynecologists. You will be based primarily at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, and will contribute to acute Obstetric services at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital.

We are committed to delivering high-quality care and are investing £6.6 million in a new model of Consultant-led Obstetric services. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multi-professional team and contribute to the development of networked pathways of care.

You will be fully supported by a thriving department and wider hospital team. You will have the opportunity to take forward service and academic development, with the possibility of accommodating sub-specialty interests in NHS Grampian and within North of Scotland networks.

To be considered for this role, you should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register. Alternatively, applicants should possess a CESR / CESR (CP). Applications from doctors with appropriate specialist training and experience who are not listed on the GMC Specialist Register can be considered for a Locum Consultant post.
