We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Purchasing Team as an Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and management of all company procurements, ensuring an efficient procurement process and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage our backlog of Purchase Orders and ensure payments are being processed efficiently
- Provide support to the Sales department with queries around stock
- Process orders and manage through to completion
- Monitor and manage Service Level Agreements
- Monitor Supplier performance
- Maintain and update accurate due dates for delivery of products into our warehouses
- Liaise with Vendors for special bid pricing and manage internal process
- Work closely with Product Managers to ensure availability and stock levels
- Oversee inbound movement of goods from suppliers
- Organise inbound shipment of goods
- Resolution of warehouse dispute notices
- Communicate with and support sales team
- Able to use Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
