Job Description

Gresham Hunt is seeking an experienced External Reporting Manager to join their team in a hybrid model. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and a proven track record of managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of insightful and commercially minded analysis at subsidiary and group levels
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Timely accounting for a portfolio of subsidiary companies
  • Liaison with external auditors and preparation of audit support schedules and working papers
  • Accounting input for non-routine transactions, including the preparation of accounting memos
  • Other project accounting work, including services provided to affiliates
  • Input into annual budgeting and cash forecasting process
  • Identification and implementation of systems and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Big 4/Top 10 audit experience
  • Post-qualified experience in an external reporting role, reviewing financial statements and managing teams
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of reporting under IFRS
  • Robust knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance, and focus on financial control and stewardship
