Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Factory Production Associate to join our team at Go To Outsourcing. As a Factory Production Associate, you will be responsible for producing high-quality timber frame panels for house building in accordance with production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing timber frame panels from delivery to finished product, working within various workstations.
- Cutting materials, inserting thermal insulation, stapling, and fitting.
- Operating on a semi-automated manufacturing line, producing open panel timber frame wall units, plasterboard, and wrapping finished products for transportation.
- Using hand tools and power tools, including nail guns, drills, hammers, and tape measures.
- Assembling wooden frames following technical drawings.
- Quality checking of products.
- Rotating across various departments to gain new knowledge and skills.
- Adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies.
Requirements:
- Own transport.
- Good level of English.
- Preferably with experience in the timber frame industry.
- Willingness to learn and work within any stage of the production line.
- Flexibility.
- Ability to work under your own initiative and take instruction from a Supervisor to complete all reasonable tasks as required.
Benefits:
- Modern, well-equipped facilities, including a canteen, locker room, and showers.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent position.
- Pay increases of £12.40 after accepting a permanent contract, private health care, and production bonus entitlement.
- Each upskill role with an additional 0.60p per hour.
Health and Safety:
- First-day Health and Safety induction training provided by client site management.
- Forklift accidents, falls, and trips, manual handling, and noise risks.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided, including safety boots, hi-viz vests, goggles, and ear protectors.
