Position Overview

Dakota Edinburgh is looking for a dedicated and diligent individual to become a vital part of our Housekeeping Team as a Room Attendant.

COMPENSATION AND WORK SCHEDULE

The position offers a competitive wage of £11.50 per hour, with weekly payments, resulting in a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £17,940.

This role entails a permanent contract with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Typical working hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 3:30pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 4:30pm
  • Sunday: 10:30am - 5pm
Shifts will be scheduled across any five days of the week, including regular weekend work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and en-suite bathrooms, ensuring beds are made and spaces are immaculate and inviting.
  • Carry out various cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping, and lifting bedding items.
  • Address guest preferences and requests to enhance their stay, such as providing specific pillow types or setting up cots.
  • Maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling and proper use of cleaning equipment.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, particularly regarding waste management and manual handling.
