About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Lead to join our team at DGMT. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that showcases our work and promotes our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communications Strategy Development
    • Develop a communications strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
    • Identify key messaging and key audiences
    • Develop a plan for stakeholder engagement and management
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and community leaders
    • Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement plan that promotes our work and builds support for our mission
  • Content Development and Advocacy
    • Develop and disseminate communications products, including press releases, op-eds, blogs, and social media content
    • Advocate for our work and promote our mission through various channels
  • Research and Analysis
    • Conduct research and analysis to inform our communications strategy and messaging
    • Develop and disseminate research findings and recommendations
  • Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our communications strategy and messaging
    • Develop and implement a plan for continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience with content management systems and CRM applications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
