Room Leader Opportunity at Bright Horizons

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Teddies Woking Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities and experiences that meet the needs of all children.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating for children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
