Property Acquisition Specialist

Salary: £58,597 - £73,247 (+ £6000 Car Allowance) + Benefits + Profit Share Bonus Scheme

Remote position with travel requirements across the UK & Europe.

About the Role

We are seeking a Property Acquisition Specialist to spearhead the acquisition of new assets for the HX Group, aligning with our growth strategy. This role focuses on identifying sites for internal use or subletting to partners, while ensuring profitability through effective rent management. Additionally, there will be an emphasis on expanding our operations throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Procure a diverse range of property assets, including land and commercial properties, across the UK and Europe for the HX Group.
  • Oversee and manage our existing property portfolio within the HX Group.
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering and managing high-quality building projects.
  • Establish a network of advisors throughout the UK and Europe to support our growth initiatives.
  • Enhance the acquisitions strategy to propel our growth agenda.
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases for all prospective sites.
  • Generate regular reports for the Board, including slide decks and presentations.
  • Maintain consistent progress updates for the Property Director and Board.
  • Foster a culture of trust and respect within the Property Team, encouraging creativity and accountability.
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with current and prospective tenants, landlords, and key suppliers.
  • Build professional connections within the property sector, including lawyers, surveyors, and agents, to optimize and expand our portfolio.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fully qualified MRICS Surveyor or equivalent experience.
  • Professional background in managing a diverse property portfolio, including land.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate, with a proven history of successful acquisitions in commercial property.
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent written and presentation capabilities, including business case preparation.
  • Familiarity with the planning processes in the UK and Europe.
  • Commercially savvy with exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a broader team across the UK and Europe, with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver within budget constraints.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects with various stakeholders efficiently.
  • Balance cost management with performance targets to promote effective behavior and enhance performance.

This role is primarily home-based but requires significant travel across the UK and Europe, necessitating a full driving license.
