Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Multi-Trade Lecturer to join our Construction and Building Services team at Stoke On Trent College. The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 3 or above qualification within the vocational sector, along with assessor/verifier and teaching qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students in Multi-Trade skills, including bricklaying
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs that meet industry standards
  • Assess and verify student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Multi-Trade or a related field
  • Assessor/verifier and teaching qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in teaching and assessing vocational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
