This role will report to the Quality Engineer Team Lead and work closely with the Raytheon Software Engineering Department. Main Responsibilities: * Ensure the Quality Management System processes and process control documentation on Software (and/or Firmware) are compliant with regulatory requirements, objectives, and/or contracts. * Develop and review Software Quality Plans and reports. * Conduct internal Software Quality audit activities (process & product) and accurately record & monitor Non-Conformances with RCCA. * Manage Software Certification Requirements within both Software Development & production test environments. * Perform independent verification & validation of the software development lifecycle, including quality review at the requirements, design, code, and test phases. * Review Software Design Documents, requirements analysis, and Software Requirements Specifications (SRSs). * Control and monitor Bought in Software and its implications. * Approve software tool evaluations. * Provide quality support to program reviews or Management Reviews. * Assist Business Leads with customer liaison on any External Customer Software audits or meetings. Requirements: * Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Internal Auditing, and RCCA methodologies and practice. * Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. * Experience of working within a Quality Assurance team supporting one or more programs. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Flexible and positive attitude. Desirable: * Software Configuration Management, FCA/PCA. * Experience of Git, GitHub, Bit Bucket. * Knowledge of DAOS, DEF CON, RESA, AQAPs. * A love for automation. * Knowledge and experience of software standards. * Knowledge of Software coding and test using C+, C++, JIRA.
