About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sauce Cook/Lasagne Cook to join our production team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne products.
Key Responsibilities
- Mixing ingredients and raw materials in commercial kettles to create our sauces and lasagne products
- FOLLOWING recipes and specifications to ensure consistency across batches
- Efficiently carrying out assigned operations or tasks to meet output targets
- Contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies
- Maintaining excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards
- Resolving running problems/issues
- Handling food ingredients
- Following manual lifting processes to handle 5kg to 20kg weighted resources
- Participating in training and mentoring of new staff
- Identifying opportunities to continuously improve the production/process
- Communicating effectively with area leaders
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Good level of English and Maths
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ability to work unsupervised
